Eros International held the premiere of their movie ‘Dhoom Dadakaa’ at Cinemax in Andheri, Mumbai. The entire cast and crew of the film including Shaad Randhawa, Aarti Chhabria, Shama Sikander and Sameer Dattani graced the do, while Sunil Lulla of Eros and the film’s producer-director Shashi Ranjan played the perfect hosts.

Shama Sikander is a known face from television courtesy her TV serial ‘Yeh Meri Life Hai’ on Sony TV. She played the lead protagonist there and gained instant fame. Although her career on television was rocking with that show the films that she got after that were not. But now she seems all set to make a comeback to the big screen with Shashi Ranjan’s Dhoom Dadakka starring opposite Sameer Dattani.

“The film Dhoom Dadakka is a situational comedy and I am playing the female lead in it, it’s about a don (Anupam Kher), that’s looking for an heir to his property. There comes a change in the story when four different characters show up to claim that property.”

“Basically im a very jolly person and freak out on comedies so I would love doing them.”
“Also I made a conscious decision to stay away from television for a while as there was nothing substantial for me to do since I was not interested in doing the usual saas bahu sagas, and the film offers that were coming my way were not too exciting. But having said that let me clarify that I am not averse to doing television as I will be doing a reality show on Sahara One. It’s a singing show.” said Shama.

Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty and filmmaker David Dhawan came together to unveil the music of Shashi Ranjan’s soon-to-be-released comedy flick ‘Dhoom Dadakka’ at a glittering event held at JW Marriott. The film's cast and crew including Sammir Dattani, Aarti Chhabria, Shaad Randhawa and Shama were present at the launch along with Eros International’s Sunil Lulla.

Dhoom Dadakka Synopsis :

Mungilal (Anupam Kher) was once a small time Bhai in Mumbai, way back in the early 70’s. Jignesh was his friend cum business advisor (Satish Shah). When the law-enforcing authorities turned the heat on the Bhais in Mumbai, the two fled to Bangkok. Now in Bangkok, Mungilal has become a don.

An All Asian Bhai Meet is being held in Mumbai. In the discussion, a rival Don of Mungi’s, Fursat Lala proposes an ambitious plan for a piece of land in Alibagh and puts across a valid argument that in their business, it is very important to have an successor. Since Mungi has no one it is decided that Fursat Lala should be made the new Don of Mumbai. However, Mungilal assures the syndicate that he has an heir, who he will present before them in a month’s time. However, in his quest to find an heir, Mungilal is caught in a dilemma when four youngsters (Shaad Randhawa, Sameer Dattani, Aarti Chhabria, Shama Sikander) land up in his house each claiming to be his nephew.
